Assistant Principal for Student Services and Pupil Personnel Services

I majored in special education in its infancy. Throughout my 37+ years in education, I have monitored and educated myself to the changes in special education. My values have always been that of an educator and an advocate for students, ensuring that every decision I made was in the best interest for the student. Now, as a retired educator, I am looking forward to continue my work as an advocate to assist families and schools to work together for an optimal outcome for students.

30 years of teaching and administration in Special Education

After obtaining my Master’s Degree, I have been a teacher or administrator in Special Education for my entire career. I have been fortunate to be able to teach students with all abilities and work with parents to help them with their child’s educational programming. In my retirement, I am continuing to work with parents and students through The Collaborative Parent/Child Educational Advocacy.
